Two & Four Week Mini Courses:
These are two, four, and six week taxidermy courses tailored for students who
wish to specialize, or are not able to attend the entire eight week session.
Training is just as intense as in the full course, and no taxidermy short cuts
are taken. The difference is in the number of specimens mounted. Procedures
used for the following requirements are the same as those described for the
full courses.
Topics include: Extreme form alterations, Pedestals, Detachable antlers, Casting and molding, Advanced habitat techniques and evaluations, European skulls, Skull cleaning, and bleaching (with our own dermestid beetle colony on site). Learn our secrets for obtaining Super Clean, Super White European Skulls.

* Due to the ever increasing popularity of catch and release fishing, students
are
encouraged to include a fiberglass reproduction as one of their required
fish mounts
Upon completion of your chosen Taxidermy Course, you will have specimens
for your new showroom, and the knowledge to begin your Commercial Taxidermy
Business!
Job Placement:
As our courses are geared for students who plan to open their own businesses,
our graduates do not often need job placement services. We do, however, periodically
receive calls from taxidermists looking for new employees. We keep a current
file of these openings and pass them on to interested students. As it is unlikely
for us to receive employment information from taxidermists in your area, most
of these opportunities would require relocation.
